Communications Support

Support courses are not credit courses. They are designed to help students brush up on important skills that will help them in ACE courses.

COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT: Communications Support contains nine modules and is designed for students who score between 226 and 249 on the Reading assessment. It provides learners with the necessary English reading and writing skills to function in an online academic environment. Writing topics range from fundamentals, such as capitalization and punctuation, to creating a variety of error-free sentence structures.  Reading strategies are included to improve academic reading skills and comprehension.

PREREQUISITE: Reading score minimum 226

COURSE LENGTH: 40 hours, maximum 6 weeks
